Happy Friday!
Today marks 60 days before Election Day. The same number of days in advance that states would have to have submitted their voter lists by under Trump’s executive order to restrict mail-in voting.
That order would require states to submit lists of mail-in voters to the Trump Administration, and the Postal Service will be able to refuse delivery of ballots to voters not in the database.

Writing Wednesdays – Writing Can Save Democracy!
Join Women Forward for Writing Wednesdays 12-1pm AK. The Women Forward Write to Win project supports writing letters to the editor, your elected representatives, corporations, or political campaigns. Writing Wednesdays invites writers to express their ideals and aspirations for democracy and our country and hold people in power accountable by writing letters to newspaper or media outlet editors, elected representatives, corporations, or others.
The DNC is taking on the GOP and working to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. They need your help to build for the future so please consider making a donation today!

- Visit the DNC’s Take Action page – Learn more about the ‘Local Listeners’ training, Storytellers Network, and other ways to get involved. Get the word out about how the Trump Administration is affecting Alaska – you can find a running list of Federal actions affecting our state here. Write a letter to the editor of your local paper – Check out Women Forward’s helpful toolkit for guidance. Letters to the editor are a long game, so if your letter isn’t published, keep trying and post it on social media and share it with your network. You can find more tips on how to write letters that really get attention here and feel free to contact us at info@alaskaforward.org if we can help in any way.
