Donald Trump started a war with Iran and now he’s ending it and calling it a triumph. He promised a deal better than President Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. What he delivered is a stronger Revolutionary Guard, higher gas a grocery prices, and the death 13 American service members.
Demand accountability – Congress must insist on full transparency about the terms of this deal and its implications for U.S. security.
Today is Juneteenth, a federal holiday signed into law by President Joe Biden in 2021 to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth marks the day a promise finally caught up to the people it was made to, and it reminds us of how hard we have to work, and fight, to deliver justice.
