Happy Friday! Last night, the Senate passed a $70 billion package funding for ICE for 3 years, without a ban on DOJ “anti-weaponization” fund. We need to be sure they hear from us!
Now more than ever, democracy is on the line, and we all need to find community in this politically-engaged environment. Please considering joining Women Forward and Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) on Tuesday, June 16 at 2pm to talk about what it actually takes to get things done.
Stay tuned for more details about the No Kings nationwide event on June 14th (Trump’s 80th birthday). The next 250 starts with us!
Read on for more opportunities to get involved and local events in this week’s ‘Ways to Engage’ series from Alaska Forward!
